This ruler was designed to simplify the selection and cutting of the following types of blocks: pictorial, landscape, animal, redwork, photo, machine embroidery, and applique. The finished block is 7 1/2". There are no unnecessary lines to distract you while making your selection. The line provides both straight and onpoint selections. The lines along the edges show the 1/4" seam allowance.
