This is truly a beginner's quilt with the look of experience. A delightful 'icing on the cake' sashing beautifully frames the super simple Layer Cake blocks. Both the quilt and pillow sham are made from one Layer Cake plus extra fabric for the "icing" sashing. The sample quilt used Hemming House by Brannock & Patek for Moda. The quilt measures 74 1/2 " x 74 1/2" and the queen size pillow sham is 18" x 30". Colorful visuals compliment the complete instructions throughout the pattern.
